Sounds like a great choice, Danno. Your D700 still has life left in it so keep it and use it when necessary. The D750 is a phenomenal body, but you are going with the latest tech rather than one that's been around for a while. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming photos with it!
Thanks, Cindy, I will probably keep the 700 for a while. I really do like it a lot. If I let it go I will likely do like was done for me and sell it to a friend at a great price that wants to move to full frame. There are a couple of folks that come to mind at church.
You made the right choice, the D750 isn’t an upgrade to the D700. What F-Mount lenses are you keeping around to use with your new Z6?
I have a number of lenses I accumulated. Nikon 14-24 2.8, Tamron 70-200 2.8 G2 and a Nikon 200-500 f5.6 are the main ones I will be using. I think the 200-500 will still spend most of its time on the C7200
Congratulations, as you know i have been mirrorless a couple of times, for a lot of things you will not have a learning curve but for some like action you may.
Thanks Mike, I think I am going to really enjoy this camera on the landscapes, architecture, car shows, old barns, and the occasional family photo or class photos. The birds and such will take some practice. So will the softball games my niece pitches... but that is half the fun.
Thanks
