Also, what makes Behance better? First time i am hearing about it.. if someone is not really happy with Zenfolio/Smugmug & the likes, there is little chance you'll like this cos these would be modeled around the most necessary for a bunch of people. which means less customization.. It definitely is just a carrot on a stick method to suck people in. Apart from the die hard loyalists at Kelby, i do not see too many people advocating what Adobe has done. Me thinks if everyone can with hold from going the CC way, Adobe will rethink it's strategy - which atm is only to have an unlimited supply of money. I work in marketing & in all instances, a client who provides repeat business, month on month or quarter on quarter is far more valuable than a single time customer. Even if this customer pays more than what a repeat client would over a year. That being said, PS is a worldclass product which may demand a lot of your money, but is it really worth getting tied you to the system making you pay month on month, year after year. Simple math, you will definitely pay loads more than a stand alone purchase. How many of us will buy every version of PS out there? Not many. Probably a CS3 then a CS6 or maybe even a larger gap depending on your pocket size. They want your money, that's the bottom line...
