Hi, I have a question on PS6 hope someone can assist.

for Lightroom, you can select the color setting in your raw file. How do you do this for PS 6? Someone told me to do this in filter but I couldn't find it.

I am referring to changing the raw picture from natural, portrait, landscape, vivid, etc.

thank you

I'm certainly no expert in Photoshop but I do use it and I don't think you can do what you're asking it; assuming I'm understanding you correctly. It sounds like you want to apply what I'm going to call "Presets" to a RAW file, like those found in your camera (Vivid, Portrait, Normal, Landscape, et al). There are no filters in the default install of Photoshop that do that.

For easy color correction open a RAW file and go into the "Image" menu. From there you can do quick and dirty color and tonal adjustments by using Auto Color, Auto Tone and so forth. There are a lot of options in this menu but again, I'm not aware of any presets for things like "Portrait" like you have in your in-camera menus. Hope that helps.

EDIT: Found a neat little tutorial video on Auto Color Corrections in CS-6.

Firstly, you can rate with color or stars your photos using Bridge in PS6

As for your second question, are you asking about the various modes (landscape, etc.) and taking a photo in RAW? The various modes will affect only the conversion of the RAW into a JPG. If you're loading the RAW file from your camera directly onto your computer, these modes will have no effect on the image unless you're using ViewNX, which retains that information when converting to JPG.

Hi guys than you for responding. I do understand you can set the color in the camera setting but since I shoot raw, I am ok.

What I am trying to do is after photoshop, I would like to change the color setting in jpg. In lightroom there is such a feature. I guess ps6 does not.
