pros cons of the D750

New product and information. There is added information regarding the product in the various videos. You should see the video I posted in the "General DSLR Camera" forum regarding the new Canon 7D Mk II. That video makes me feel Nikon may have waiting on releasing a pro-body DX camera in order to trump the Canon release.
An upgraded D7100 is what my money is waiting for.

Yea I saw that nonsense video.

Which one is the nonsense video?

Usually this is what typically happens.

- New rumor announcement: Everyone is excited / anxious.

- Announcement stage: Whiners barrage begins. Too expensive, it doesn't have this and that.

- Release stage: Techies and wanna be reviewers puts out their two cents.

- After a year, people who whined quietly buys it after they realized that it isn't so bad after they warmed up with it.

This is pretty much why whiners amuse me so much.

I remember several years ago when Left 4 Dead 2 (a video game) was announced/released less than a year after the first one. There was a massive group of people on Steam (a gaming client) who joined together to boycott the game. Guess how many of those same people bought the game right when it came out or soon after? Basically, they became the laughing stock of Steam for a while.

IMO a very significant con is the position of the AEL button, whether it's used for AEL or (even more) when it's used for AFON. It is too far to the left and is objectively unergonomic. I have no idea if they missed it or purposely made it this way. I have checked with more than a few people and found none that would prefer a position more to the right. My thumbs are relativley long (unusually long actually) and that's true even for me. Even more for people using the left eye for the viewfinder (there are many) and/or wear glass (also many).

yea I can understand how button placement and ergonomics can be a huge decision for many. personally I took interest in the AF ON button a long time ago but havent practiced with it since. its not for me. Im also an old school center focus spot and recompose person. I dont use continuous with any tracking. everyone has their own technique.
