It actually works out really well and wished I had started doing this a long time ago. By having Christmas (the present side of it) at the beginning of the Christmas breaks our kids would have their gifts for the full Christmas break rather than just that last weekend before returning to school. Then, on actual Christmas day, we could celebrate the day for its real meaning without the competition of the gift side of it. We started doing this about 4-5 years ago and everyone really loves it. Essentially, we made two holidays out of one.</p></blockquote><p></p>
