I woke up wide awake at 0430 in the morning. Could not get back to sleep so I laid there thinking what should I do? Then it occurred to me, it's cold as crap out there right now which means the moisture will be down here in the desert. And even though I don't like shooting a full moon because so many of the features get washed out; I captured a spectacular shot of the moon showing surface topography (waves, peaks, etc.) like I have never captured before. I wish the down scaled for web looked half as good but it still turned out really well. Looking forward to shooting the partial moons in the cold morning air later down the road.
