Day 275, 2013 - Flower in the Rain I was on my walk about to find my picture of the day when the heavy hanging clouds finally start to let loose of their moisture. I quickly shoot a picture of a tree and its walnuts hanging from the tree. It's a picture I don't like but I need something at this point and the liquid in the air is really hurting my chances of finding something in the next five milliseconds. Having captured my "I'll live with it" photo of the day I started to sprint home when I saw this flower well past its prime. Petals are going translucent and it's starting its descent into the circle of life, but the way the water was sticking and hanging off of it I knew I had found where I left my picture of the day. Now all I needed to do was capture it and here it is.
