Day Thirty Three I've been meaning to risk the trip out to this tree. The closest place to park is about a quarter mile away. Since my handicap prevents me from making long hikes, I had to pause often. It took me almost 30 minutes to make the hike. I had about 15 minutes to shoot, and then a 30 minute hike back to the car. I'm happy with the photo (my second HDR attempt) because my camera won't bracket so they are manually set shutter speeds, and hand held. Maybe I should try taking my tripod and using it as a walking stick. Back to the tree. I have no clue how old it really is, but rumors are somewhere in the 3 to 4 hundred range. The Trunk at the base is about 8 feet across. Anyway. Enjoy.
