Day Nine This little lady was there to greet us at work this morning. She was in a dark hallway and I actually walked right past her. I didn't have the proper lens and only had Pop up flash for lighting so I couldn't really do the shot justice. At least I tried. For those of you who do not recognize the red hour-glass marking, this is an adult Black Widow spider. She is one of the most toxic spiders in the US. This one spanned about an inch and a half from the tips of her legs. I was able to get my 18-55 lens about 6 inches from her. That's as close as I wanted to get. By afternoon, someone had disturbed her web, so I'm not sure if they killed her or not. I'll watch for her and maybe get my close up lens if she comes back. That was her lunch on the right
