Here is my unedited RAW file from the shot. The bears are about 2 feet away from the back of the board Elmer's Black Foam Board 20" x 30" for the Office or School RAW file edited in Lightroom 4, contrast & Black levels were incresed from the start to make the black look black, it likes to turn to the blue side when doing normal color adjustment because it is not a true black, and leans toward the gray / blue side. It quick and easy to set up. If you want to do it right go out and find a roll or some colored paper and make a slope or a "U" shape out of it, it will make for a much smoother transition. The boards create a right angle were they meet and need to be blended in by darkening or in the case when I shot on white edited out in Photoshop. I am NOT using the right materials for this but till I can remember to pick up some colored paper this works for me. My resources are limited because I live out in the country and I tend to forget paper when we drive to one of the big cities around us.
