Re: Defective D810!!! Corrupt RAW files I suggest that you take the following steps to isolate the problem. 1a. Check if the files are displaying on the camera display. Zoom to max and check details. If they are displaying, the camera is writing properly to the card. 1b. Check the files on both the cards - SD and CF. If both display, then camera and cards are functioning properly. 2a. Use USB cable to download the files to computer. Using the OS commands (not any program) 2b. Use View NX supplied with the camera (or download the latest version) to view the downloaded files. If files open properly, then you are fine. Other wise it is a data transfer problem. 3. Use the View NX to transfer and view the files. If it works, fine, else it is still a data transfer problem over the USB. 4. Use card reader to transfer the files and view them in View NX. If they open, fine, else it may be a card data transfer problem. Check with both the cards. It may also be a data incompatibility, in which case the camera software is to be blamed - return the camera. If the images are opening properly in View NX and/or Capture NX-D, then the problem lies in the software you are using. Till a fix is available, use the Nikon Software to adjust and export the files in 16bit TIFF for processing by other software.
