Many Aussies are tempted by much cheaper deals in Asia but, as I have found to my cost, they do not come with an international warrantee or our excellent consumer protection. I think I have a lemon, but have just read of the same problem with the D5100 on another forum, so was wondering if it is common to the model. Unfortunately I sold my trusty and sturdy D80. I have since bought a D7100 from my usual store in OZ, where they know their stuff. I am very happy with it so far ... and trying not to think about how much poorer I am!</p></blockquote><p></p>
