Problem with Chrome

Chrome refused to open when i clicked,had several goes over two days,in the end i removed it intending to reinstall it,now i cant reinstall it it says downloading but after two hours it is still showing no signs,i have firefox but i need Chrome for batch upload to the gallery,any ideas.

You've probably tried a reboot, if not try a simple reboot. Then a virus and malware scan. Also disable the av before starting the download and install.

I think this should leave you with a standalone install file.

Thanks nick,i have reinstalled it but still not working,checked my fire wall wasnt blocking it,will have a further look tomorrow.

You could try a system restore, take the PC back say a week when it was working ok.
