Problem when hitting the add photo button

Just trying to add to the world of December tonight, I can write my msg but soon as I click on the insert photo button the whole page gets greyed out and stays like that forever. Never had this happen before. All other internet sites working great. Help

Yes, there is a thread running already. I go advanced after that I can upload photos easier.

i always had problems using the flash photo page. on the right I select the standard upload page and I have no problems.

I have been having the same problem for a while. but only on my desktop. The laptop works fine have tried everything uninstall program's re-install them, the system works fine when I upload photos to a buy and sell site I use (Trademe) I am just at the point of resetting my computer to factory setting and starting all over. I hate not being able to fix these things.
Anyone got any ideas?????

Yep - I've had the "greying out" problem a few times... mainly when trying to re-size a photo to "large"... usually works after a few goes.
I'll try the "standard upload" technique and see how that goes.
