Most filters are worthless on lens that wide due to vignetting. My plan is to have the 16-35 for wide when a filter is needed and the Rokinon 14 when I want the extra 2mm and speed.

I'll use a thin ND for waterfall shots, 18mm or above should be ok. Are you still using D7000? The 16-35 won't be very wide on Dx.
I'm a little almost torn now....
Do I look into the 24mm f/1.8 Sigma or stay on course and save for my 28mm f/1.8G Nikon

Just keep in mind that the Sigma is similar to the "D" lens and it does not have a HSM (SWM). So, your best bet if you stick with your D5100 is the Nikon 28mm f1.8G lens.

Great lens set-up. The Nikon 16-35mm f4 will complete this trio.
As everyone else has said, Sigma is really making some kick-but primes. Nice that they also put that "gold" ring on their lenses - they look a bit like Nikons
Yes they are. In addition to the Nikon lenses I listed above, I also have the Sigma 35 1.4 and the Sigma 150 Macro with OS. Both are fantastic...especially the 35.
I've been reading a lot of rave reviews about that Sigma 35mm f1.4 lens. Sigma primes are great but they need to improve the zoom lens a little more.
The only Sigma zoom I've used is the 17-50 2.8 for the DX cameras. It came highly recommended and I like it a lot. It lives on one of my DX cameras. Sigma has really made great strides.
