Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pretzel" data-source="post: 255312" data-attributes="member: 12257">Thanks!I loved it too.  I think my initial reaction to Perfect Effects 8 was due to the fact that it's not as polished/glamorous as the NIK collection comes across, so I dismissed it as something akin to Picasa.  The more I dig, though, the more I see that it is actually a straightforward edit/tweak program with a library of presets built in as well.  A lot of the things it does are things I was trying to learn in LR/PS, and it actually makes it a bit easier to do, although maybe not quite as in depth as what someone could achieve in PS.  Still aiming to nab the NIK collection after I upgrade my camera body, but this is a nice gap filler until then!</blockquote>
