Nicely done, Paul. The 85mm f/1.8 is a fantastic, lightweight lens. Had I not looked at the EXIF on all the photos, I wouldn't have known you switched lenses.
Over the weekend I took photos during our church retreat. First I used my 24-70mm f/2.8 then reached into my bag to switch to the 85mm. As I grabbed the lens, I realized the 85mm isn't the one I put in my bag. Instead I put in my 105mm f/2.8 VR--there is a noticeable enough difference in weight between the 85mm and 105mm that I realized right away which one I had taken without even looking at the lens.
The 85mm f/1.8 isn't given enough credit for what it can do. Many people prefer the slightly faster f/1.4 version, but the f/1.8 is definitely a keeper for me.
