No not yet Mike, I am only using my D800E, LED ring light, 90mm Macro Tamron and occasionally on board flash. Am looking forward to the arrival of my Raynox which is in transit.Scott are you using any of the new gear for these fantastic shots.

Thank you Mike, as a kid I used to love "collecting" all sorts of bugs. Now with a macro I can collect them and not do any harm. The way I photograph them is to try and capture the artistic concept of "bugs" in saying that I love the focus stacked ones, but for me I like to highlight a certain area and with spiders their eyes are amazing. I am looking forward to getting my Raynox DCR-250 as then I can get even closer as I am finding I am bumping leaves etc to get close. I have found that if you gently blow at a jumping spider that isn't facing you will get his attention and he will turn aroundI like your style Scott, when i view the pictures i don't care what is out of the DOF area my interest has been caught by what is,great shots.

I am thinking the only real difference will be that I can get the shot I want with out cropping lets hope the IQ is just the same. Although I wonder if I can fit it to my other lensesIme looking forward to you getting the raynox, one just sold on ebay stupid cheap but i didn't risk it waiting for your results.
