I was in Central Florida this weekend, and while out with my camera, I was surprised by this creature, who seemed very interested in my camera. Often when faced wth this kind of situation, your choices might be "Fight or Flight". I chose the third option. Yep, I froze. I then very carefully got out my phone and set it up for photos, and quietly took a few shots. As you can surmise, I'm lucky that this one didn't tear me apart!!;) Actually, the photos were taken at the Butterfly Rainforest exhibit at the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville, Florida. For those of you who ever get the chance to go, I really recommend it. It was $11 for admission, but they allow cameras, and you'll have to go to Central America to see most of the species in the exhibit. And might I mention how smart the butterfly was? He had a choice of landing on my camera, the only Nikon, or two others, which were non-Nikon. "He chose wisely." WM
