This clamp arrived today. The smell isn't nearly as bad as what some of the reviews suggested. :beguiled: The clamp is exceptionally strong. There's no way it's going to drop something. It's all I can do to open it. The clamp itself is metal, not plastic, although the edges that hold a diffuser are rubber. I also ordered 2 of these Godox receivers (I already have a Godox XProN trigger). I'm in the process of switching over to Godox flashes but still have Nikon flashes that work. When my SB-910 stopped working for the second time, I never sent it in again as the cost to repair it the first time was $200. But I still have an SB-700 and two SB-28 flashes (from my 35mm film days). The SB-28 units have approximately the same power as the SB-910 so rather than sell them (they don't bring in much money), I want to put them to use. They are supposed to work in manual although not TTL. These Godox receivers came with sync cords and a couple other small items; however, they don't come with a case. Can anyone suggest case options to hold a Godox trigger and these 2 Godox receivers as well as the cables/extras? It wouldn't have to be overly large. I'm not familiar with cases for small items like these.
