I learned on 35mm film and prefer the FX field of view; however, I do enjoy using my 300mm for birding. Since the tendonitis in my hand has been bothering me immensely, I didn't want to do BBF and haven't yet tried AF-C alone. So I simply mounted my 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR to give the D7200 a test run. I was blown away by the results.
