Message: <blockquote data-quote="Nikon Photographer" data-source="post: 644315" data-attributes="member: 9882"><p>I ended up buying the D70 back in 2004 while on a trip to the Canary Islands, a camera store there has just had the delivery of them, I was reading a review of the D70 in a photo mag at the airport on the way out, but it seemed there was a little waiting list for them in the U.K and they were a little over £1,000 for the body, luckily I got the D70 and 18/70 DX lens for £730.00, since then I've upgraded to the D90 and then to the D7000, and looking to upgrade again to the D7100 or 7200, but there's always been the S2 lurking at the back of my mind, but as it wasn't going to be used for a main camera, I didn't want to spend silly amounts on one and also wanted one in good condition.</p></blockquote><p></p>
