It magnified alright but perhaps not enough. I could make out any dust on the sensor looking through it. Got a nice rainbow effect of the sensor from the LEDs but it was of no use to me to see how successful my cleaning attempts were. It's going back to Amazon for a refund.  I used the eyelead gel stick at least half a dozen times on the sensor but it still has it still has dust on it. Going to send it in to the camera shop for a clean instead. A frustrating evening.</blockquote>
