And because I almost never extend the center post (unless I was indoors), bending over constantly to look through the viewfinder was destroying my back. The Giottos, however, seem to be one of the few manufacturers that built them for taller people. This particular tripod has a minimum height of 64 in w/o the center column in place. Add to that a ball head and center column and you have a tripod that doesn't not destroy my back.</p></blockquote><p></p>
