I've missed too many shots by either having the wrong lens on or unwilling to switch out the lens on a windy day just to capture a landscape while I'm out birding, not to mention the added gunk getting on my sensor from all the swaps. I am a little curious on how a gimbal head works. I've never played with one before so I'm hoping it's relatively straight forward. Have you ever used one of these heads?</blockquote>
