It looks as if the grip should have had another tray that holds AAs, but there wasn't any other trays. I sent a message to the seller, mildly complaining about a missing battery tray. Since I only paid $30.00 plus shipping, I'm not too mad about it. But I think I'll likely buy the Nikon battery grip for my d90 when I can afford to spend the money. Oh well, so it goes sometimes!
