Many of the people who fish were opposed to it because the water is so shallow where it was built. Plus it's right next to the boat launch. It's kind of a 'T' shape. This is the part that is closest to the boat launch. That means the noise from motors might scare away any fish that are around. The entire pier is supposed to be @50 feet.
