I have a couple of favorites...favorites for different reasons although they may not be my best images of the month. One of my high school classmates always loved seeing photos from around Bowman's Hill Tower in New Hope, PA. Sadly he passed a couple of years ago, but each October I try to get there a take a few in his memory. There is a dirt and gravel path up the side of the hill. This particular part is the steepest by far although it isn't apparent here. I got out of my SUV and stood on the path near the edge of the hill. They don't have any type of guard rail so ya gotta be careful! :eyetwitch: The path is only one car-width wide. You really do need to be sure your parking brake is working well if you get out here! ;) My guess is I parked on at least a 45-degree angle incline. The exit goes down the opposite side of the hill but isn't nearly as steep. And this one will remain a fond memory, too. This was taken with my first DSLR...my D90. Someone was interested in buying the body so I took some test shots to show its capabilities. My intention was to use a high ISO (3200 here). I only used normal noise reduction in Camera RAW and supplied a few of the original NEF's. The D90 is a great camera.
