Detroit Belle Isle Access Bridge Belle Isle is a jewel of an island park located in the Detroit River. Over the years, the city allowed the park to rot into decay. When the city went into Chapter 9 Bankruptcy, the operations of the park was transferred to the State of Michigan. They've started charging a daily/yearly fee for access to the park, and the results are starting to show. Statues, buildings, gardens, lakes, and beaches have begun to show their beauty again. The fees, along with the Michigan State Police patrols have made the park safer to visit, and the "riffraff" have been told they're no longer welcome. The bridge is a beautiful structure, and I'm sure it's been photographed many times. Today, I tried my view of the north side of the bridge. I took the raw image and made a few edits the image, and converted it to B&W with a slight sepia tone. Enjoy!
