Decided to come home and put work away and take a photo that tells a story. Kind of been envisioning this shot for a while and finally took the opportunity to put it together.

My first pair of Birkenstocks - 17 years old. We've been through so much together, I can't stop looking at this image and think of how many stories this image tells - to me at least.

Old photo 1971-72 a friend took for me back in the day when I had hair. Apologies for image quality...

1971 Yamaha XS-1, beautiful gold metallic with white trim stripes. Wished I would have kept it! (Would outrun stock corvette up to about 70 mph.)

My scanner is old, too. Had to buy "Vuescan software" to get it working. Didn't help the hair situation, oh, well! LOL

@RobV I edited the post you looked at, and added an image of the XS-1. If you notice any of my posts with "invalid attachment", I will try to add a photo for you. I have no idea why it didn't work, other than we work with *computers*.

I really do wish I had kept that bike. Mrs. Carroll has other opinions.
