These big birds can get up to speed pretty fast. I shot a blue heron today as she was walking along the bank fishing. I took a few shots, and as I took my eye off the viewfinder, she took off. I had maybe 2 shots before she was far enough away where I stopped shooting.</p><p></p><p>I also shot some Cormorant in flight. None of them came out decent enough to save.</p></blockquote><p></p>
