Took my daughter yesterday to see Frozen on Ice...weeee. While we were waiting to leave the parking lot, figured I'd take a shot of the Astrodome. I took two shots in order to get the entire thing. Figured I'd merge the two together in photoshop. Here are the first two pics before merging. I copied both pics over into photoshop as new layers. Once in photoshop, I selected both layers and then chose Edit - Auto Align Layers This merges the two into one picture. I then edited out the light pole. Giving me the following picture. I then added another layer and brought in a picture of some clouds I had taken last year at the lake. I did use the clone stamp to fill in some of the empty spaces between the trees. Once completed I saved back into lightroom. In lightroom I made just a slight increase on the clarity. I then exported it to Nik Silver Efects for the black and white conversion. This technique can come in handy when you don't happen to have a wide angle lens on you.
