Did the various Brit car things with it, but then it had become a garage queen. In 2000 I decided to install a Datsun 5 speed conversion to make it a bit more highway friendly. When my wife heard this she said if you want a 5 speed why not buy a Mazda Miata? That got my wheels turning. I put a for sale sigh on the MG at a Brit car show &amp; by the end of the day it was sold. A week later I was driving mt Miata with 5 speed. The only time I have missed my MG was when the local Brit car show is happening.
