The flash upload page didn't work for me so I used Standard upload page and it worked great. The pic was the monk.

First i tried a bird - can't see it.

I try since yesterday to post. I'm getting either a message saying that my post
has more than 1000 caracters, or see nothing at all! I succeeded to upload 6
picts but they show only at thumbnails!

Very frustration business!

Kodiak, your pics have to be 1000 pixels or less on the long edge, or it just sizes them down to thumbnails. Not sure what is happening with the 1000 characters thing though.

Here is a guide that should help you.

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72px

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.

Hi Billy,

My picts are 1000 pxl long…

I fancy whiskies more…

I don't know what it can be then unless you don't have the resolution at 72, hope the guide helps. I haven't ever really developed a taste for whiskey or anything like that really. Jagermeister isn't bad and good tequila Like Don Juilio

I understand all this but what I don't get is the two tabs as shown in the second
screenshot! I saw these tabs only once!!!

Most of the times I get a "no-tab" window or the message that I am over 1000 characters!

Maybe it has to do with a stubborn MAC user lost in a PC environment… but I understand
that Internet is Internet whatever the platform

The resolution set to 72 is not as important as the size. This is just a good starting point that works. Not to big ans not to small.

My greatest difficulty in this matter was my non comprehension of the PC world!
I called a friend of mine, who happens to be an internet wizzard using a MAC at
home and working the whole day on a PC, and he explained me somethings I did
not grasp.

He little "translation" was greatly helpful and my problems are solved.
Thanks Robert!

BTW, I just created a new group: Product Photography that maybe you will want
to have a look at.

Thanks to all who tried to help me with my uploading problems.
