I have a laptop. and older one. more than enough for that. but its big and bulky. its a desktop replacement. im thinking about getting a tablet to this. basically simple editing like highlight/midtone/shadow adjustment, crop, sharpen, exposure, BW. just simple editing I need to fine tune the image. I dont think the table would have an issue editing images from a D3 D3S in jpeg. we never shoot raw so images are 5-8mb. but my inquiry is whether its possible to use a mouse and a memory card reader(can be connected to upload the images to the tablet then taken out) but a mouse would definitely be nice to use instead of fingers on screen. a few said they use the USB charging port as regular port with a simple mini usb to usb adapter. trying to get people experience. cheers
I have a laptop I take with me to weddings. after the BG location shoot we do for them and when I get to the venue, but before the guests and family arrive, I have around 30-40 minutes that I need to edit 30-40 images as the venues usually have big screens and the BG ask for a slideshow for the guests. editing doesnt take long. but going through the memory card to select the images to edit and transfer takes some time. I dont think the table would have an issue editing images from a D3 D3S in jpeg. we never shoot raw so images are 5-8mb. but my inquiry is whether its possible to use a mouse and a memory card reader(can be connected to upload the images to the tablet then taken out) but a mouse would definitely be nice to use instead of fingers on screen. a few said they use the USB charging port as regular port with a simple mini usb to usb adapter. trying to get people experience. cheers
