This is purely to sell magazines. These so-called editors, come up with this stuff in order to grab attention and to intrigue people. There is no such thing as "the best" camera. I am not knocking the 5D MKIII, it's a great camera. But, is it the best camera for me? or for you? If i read the article right, they are choosing the Canon because of it's video features and because of it's low-light performance - all other reasons are rather trivial. However, the D800 actually has better low-noise at high ISO performance. As for the video part of it, well, Canon has always been a leader in that area. Though, if your primary reason in buying a DSLR is video, keep your wallet in your pocket. Again, this is total, pure, rubbish and should not be paid attention to!

These so-called editors, come up with this stuff in order to grab attention and to intrigue people. There is no such thing as "the best" camera. I am not knocking the 5D MKIII, it's a great camera. But, is it the best camera for me? or for you?
