Pixel Genius Calls it Quits, Gives Away Plug-ins for Free

For those running Photoshop Pixel Genius has released their full suite of applications for free. No registration, no serial number, no nuthin'... All three of applications come rolled up in one big, fat download file but none of the plug-ins will be updated or supported going forward; see their website for details.

I don't know if these plug-ins will run on anything other than Photoshop.

I currently use Photoshop CS6 with the NIK collection for my post processing. Would their be any real advantage to adding the Pixel Genius collection?
