9-24-13: Took a short walk this afternoon after work to take advantage of the beautiful afternoon. One of the things I love about the fall is all the funky fungus that pops up. These guys did not exist yesterday. They exploded overnight, literally. :) Fungal Funtime A Mushroom Among Moss While checking out all the fungus, I noticed these weird little ground cover plants with red berries. I have no idea what they are. They seem to grow along the edge of the woods in mainly shady areas. Showing Red Green All photos were taken with my D7000 and the AF 55mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor lens, on-camera flash, ISO 200, f/9, 1/60th sec.
