This guy was singing away (if you can call catbird calls singing). It took me a few minutes to find exactly where it was. They do blend in very well.</p><p></p><p><strong>Catbird Seat</strong></p><p>[ATTACH]42973[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p></p><p>The deer have eaten most of my day lily buds before they have had a chance to flower. This day lily was on the sloping bank of a pond. Why should the deer bother with this one when they can get the ones in my garden without any effort? <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /> I didn't realize how bug-covered this lily was until I was looking at the images I took.
