I say that because it made national news for several days. I had a student who's mother worked at the nursing home right near by and he was very concerned about his mother that day. I can't blame him. Anyway, a very nice memorial was erected near the civic association in remembrance of the more than a dozen people who died. This is a photo of that memorial. Yes, you do see a pair of flip flops in front of one of the markers.
