6-14-13: Birds, Birds, Birds. Okay, I'm breaking today's photos into two groups: Birds, and Other Critters. I was watching this group of grackles and realized it was an adult grackle and its fledglings. I couldn't resist doing a series, so here goes: a grackle's version of the family outing. Hey! Wait for Me! It's Worse Than Herding Cats Yeah, Yeah, Yeah No One Ever Listens Okay, now on to robins. We have lots and lots of robins around here. Just before I saw the grackles, I saw a robin having a field day in my neighbor's back lawn, especially since he had just finished mowing the lawn earlier in the day. I Got Me a Snack And now, a grey catbird. It's not the greatest photo, but this guy was flitting around. It's my first catbird photo. Hopefully, I'll get better ones later.
