6-12-13: It is so nice to have a sunny day after so many dreary days of rain. We have a new crop of cottontail rabbits that have a nest in some high grass next to the driveway. This little guy had ventured out of his/her warren and was muching away on some clover until I was spotted. I tried to slowly move closer to him/her but right after I took this photo, I was spotted. Out and About We spotted this crane fly on the floor in the barn (note: the barn hasn't had horses in it for at least 15 years). It was already dead but I didn't notice that until spousal unit picked it up. He's much braver than I am when it comes to bugs. :) Camouflage I just found the texture and color against the green background interesting. Linked Sunny afternoons are wonderful, especially when the light paints a subject so well and makes even overgrown grass gone to seed an interesting photo. As an added bonus, check out the two fireflies on the bottom part of the grass. Sunkissed
