Photoshop vs OnOne Photosuite 8

Can anyone make a recommendation on which is going to be a more valuable software to learn. Obviously it takes time and money to learn any photo suite, I am hoping to avoid buying one and realizing 2 months later I should've bough the other.

Is photoshop better just because they are the industry leader and more widely recognized?

I appreciate the feedback.

Senior Member
I use photoshop since it is the most common software available for windows and mac. Tutorials on PS are easily viewed on you tube and it really worked well for me.

You are comparing a $700 state of the art piece of software to a $80 piece of software. PhotoShop may be a lot more software than you need and it is difficult to learn BUT it is the best photo editing available.
