Photo Information

Don't know if I'm posting this in the right place....

I see a lot of people when they post their photos (here, youtube, etc) list the details of the shot, including shutter speed, aperture, iso, focal length, etc.

Is there a way to get my camera to attach this info to each picture automatically? Is this something I can view only on the camera when reviewing photos on the LCD screen? or do i need to write this stuff down and add it to my photots later on?

Thanks!

If you follow the instructions on re-sizing your photos and make sure the long side in 1000px or less then it will probably be encoded but that does not show unless you have the plugin to read it in your browser. Most editing software will show you what the EXIF data is and you can copy and paste it in your post.

Most digital cameras do this by default. And they won't allow you to turn it off!

Press the Up or Down button on the multi-selector switch on the back, and you will eventually find that information. It's embedded into the image file, so you can read the data later on with many editing programs.
