Message: <blockquote data-quote="snaphappy" data-source="post: 162457" data-attributes="member: 12198"><p>Exactly if I'd patted 5yr old on the head and offered nothing to challenge him he'd LEARN NOTHING the same if I'd ignored him.  If he'd gotten it wrong I would have helped him find the answer and set him up for the next challenge.  Telling him he was right if he got it wrong is NOT HELPFUL nor is outright telling him everything is wrong without pointing out a way for him to find the answer.  If the 10yr old got it wrong I would have done the same thing but I'd have challenged his wrong answer far more than I would the 5yr old because he has the confidence and is looking for that challenge</p></blockquote><p></p>
