I have a Facebook friend who recently purchased the P950 as an upgrade from the P1000. I don't know if it's simply the settings changes, but the clarity of her photos is greatly improved (I don't think she does much, if any, post processing). The P950 doesn't come with a paper copy of the user manual although a PDF is available to download.
My lovely wife gifted me the P900 for my B-Day and I have been very happy so far. For Christmas I mention to her that the standard card that she got was a bit slow and that a faster card could be good.
So for Christmas, she got me a San Disk Extreme SDXC UHS-I Card
(write speed 150MB/s) however when I insert the card into the camera, I get an error that the card cannot be used and I cannot even go to the Menu to try to format it.
Any help.. anyone? and yes.. it is not locked.
I think i would ask Nikon,if they say it should work then go to san disk, did she get the card from a reputable dealer there are a lot of fake cards about.
Is your P900 compatible with SDXC?Thanks.. yes Best Buy.
Is your P900 compatible with SDXC?
According to the approved memory cards for the P900 it only shows SDXC 64gb and 128gb size cards. So perhaps it can't read the 256gb.

Save all data on the card, format it in the computer, then format it in the camera. See if it helps and let us know Wolfsatz.
