I had lunch with some co-workers today and the subject of photography came up. Turns out two of the other three were proud Canon owners who proceeded to give me grief about my "inferior Nikon" equipment. I didn't talk back to them at all, since I've learned not to over the years. (Mark Twain said something about arguing with a pig...).

Well, the fourth member of the group listened to them razz me for a while, and then chimed in by telling them that he had seen some of each of our photos, and asked both of them "So, if your cameras are so much better than his, how come your pictures aren't any better than his?" Ouch!! Things were quiet for a while after that...

Turns out, the fourth guy owns a Nikon, too; but they don't know that. I think I'm buying his lunch the next chance I get.

It could be like the comparison of d*ks, (inches, dear gentlemen, that is) I guess. Guys are, maybe, fascinated by large numbers, neglecting the fact that "bigger" doesn't necessarily equals "better". Or, forgetting that "quantity" is pretty much different from "quality"...:hopelessness:
