One thing that I noticed!!!

Well coming back from Vietnam and using my Nikon AW1 for about 70% of shots and my D800E for the remaining 30% I have realised that I love my D800E and should use it more often even when travelling. The image quality can not be compared to the two, even though the AW1 has its waterproofness and shockproof structure I would still try and use my D800E over it (being very careful). So this has got me thinking due to having that extra megapixels I am used to a certain quality and even when downgrading to internet size I still notice that degradation between these two cameras. Dont get me wrong the AW1 is a great camera, but I think for my purposes I should leave it and use it 30% of the time and my D800E the 70% of the time. Ok just my thoughts :)

Oh also it took me a few posts to realise the like button had been moved grrrrr :p

Scott! looking at your recent shots from Vietnam earlier, I was going to mention this very thing. Your first series of shots were with the AW1 and as soon as you switched to the 800E I could tell right of way.
Not saying the AW1 takes bad shots, but there is a clear difference in IQ that I can see.

Yes and I think it makes a big difference in how I use both cameras.
