Message: <blockquote data-quote="mikew_RIP" data-source="post: 173867" data-attributes="member: 14174">The thing is with cheap lenses they can perform well but all the other parts of the image need to be spot on before you take it,light quality,light direction,amount of detail and how obvious it is in fact many things,a top of the range lens whilst appreciating all the conditions being perfectly met can still perform well if some aspects are not.My sigma 120-400 is a perfect example it has serious limitations (me being one) but most of the time it produces images that satisfy me on the pc screen and i would hope no one would put the quality of the lens before the image,with the mixture of lenses you have i for one am really looking forward to seeing some results.mike</blockquote>
