Taking your camera out of hour air conditioned car into the hot humid outside. It happens to me all the time with my glasses and camera here in Alabama

Exactly why I said could be the humidity. My glasses, when I lived in Florida, always had the same view as that picture when the humidity condensed on the lenses. Looked familiar. LOL
